Fruity Spiced Indian Rice
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 cups of long grain rice
3 tbs butter
Pinch of salt
1 ½ tsp garam masala
¾ cup diced dried mixed fruit medley
2 cloves
2 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
Method
Melt butter in large saucepan
Add rice and stir for 2-3minutes
Add remaining ingredients and stir
Add 2 ¼ cups of water
Bring to boil and reduce heat
Cook on low heat with lid on for 18 minutes
