Stamps for Mission Project Indonesia
Stamps for Mission are donating $2000 to the Abdi Sabda Seminary prison ministry, Medan, Indonesia. Abdi Sabda seminary Prison Ministry team is just one of the six mission projects supported through the Stamps for Mission program in 2013.
Each week the enthusiastic group of faithful students studying at Abdi Sabda seminary, go into the prisons in Medan to share the love of Jesus Christ with the inmates.
The students take practical gifts such as soap and medicines as well as the good news of Jesus Christ to people of all ages who are interned in the prisons.
Children as young as eight years of age are also held in prison for crimes of varying degrees of severity.
The LCA support for this ministry is also used to provide on-going training to the students in this vital ministry.
Through this vital ministry the love and light of Jesus Christ is taken by these young people into the dark place of the prisons in Medan, Indonesia. Love comes to life!
